HATE!

Finally our title sequence is finished. Many many hours of editing and filming have been put into this project. I am pleased with the final product of our work. Like i said before i wasnt happy with what we had but i am deffinately happy now. Chelsea has been brillaint with this project. Much of the editing has been down to her. Thanks Chels =]. So now its done. There has been countless downfalls for us in this but we have pulled threw it and didnt let them stop us.

More Editing

So much editing has gone into this film. Yesterday we did 3 hours editing. Then chelsea the legend stayed after school for another 2 hours. When we thought we had our final scences together we watched it through and began to see that we didnt like all the footage we had. It needed to go. So we deleted and rearranged much of the footage. It now looks good and flows well. At first when we began to edit and when it was coming together i didnt feel it worked well and didnt think it was going to work. I wasnt happy with what we had. However as the projects progressing along my mind has been changed and i am now pleased with the way it has turned out. =]
Right a day before the title sequence was due in we realised we didnt have a name for it. So we got our thinking caps on and thought about it. Although we had done most of the editing it didnt occur to us that we needed a name. Hate is what we have decided to name our film. Its short and sweet. It doesnt tell you much about the film in somewways is good but others may disagree. We didnt want anything that gave away the film to much. Considering our film is about hate crime this works really well. It only tells the aundience whatt they need to no.

HATE!

Changes!

The genre we decided to work with was crime dram. How ever as we was making and editing out title sequence we saw that it didny work as a crime drama. So we have chnged the genre to horror. As we watched the our film it didnt resemble any crime elements. Although we researched into crime drama's they stil helped us through the process and gave us many ideas. There are not many crime drama films about this is why we wanted to do this as it would be something different. However our film didnt fit in with this genre. If we had proceeded to use crime dram we may of lost marks. So we were happy to change our genre.

Final Cut Pro!

We was told to use to improve our film to use Final Cut Por. So me and Chelsea transferd our work to Final Cut Pro. It was our first time at using this software so it was like a test run. When we began to use it it wasnt so hard. However this soon changed when we had to re-order our work. What we didnt relise was if we overlapped our work it would take seconds from it. So when we had unjumbled our work it was much shorter than we had expected, then the seconds it was taking off were being added to another clip so ti didnt make sense. Me and Chelsea were stressing out so much and was going to give up. So afetr the disaster we decided that it was mucheasier to use iMovie. We are familiar with this programme. So finished our editing on this.

Seven Title Sequence

Seven

Previously in the talk about our title sequnece there had been discussions about the title sequnce from the film Seven. As our film and the film Seven are both crime based. Therefore we wanted them to be simimlar. However through the making of this it didnt resemble any of the Seven ideas. So then when it came down to the final stages of editing we started to add more effects. In between each scence we wanted credits and there to be a flash. As simple as this may seem it was not as easy. When we added these effects it didnt look right so we decided not to use them.
